Established in 1997, the Canning Lecture series is traditionally delivered by a President or Head of Government from Latin America or the Iberian Peninsula. On this occasion, the Lecture will be delivered by the incumbent President of Paraguay.

On this occasion, the Lecture will be delivered by Ecuador’s recently re-elected President.
