On Thursday, 13 November, Canning House convened the inaugural Argentina-UK Summit in partnership with DLA Piper, sponsored by Aisa Group. Through a full programme of speeches, panels, and networking, the Summit analysed the political, economic, and commercial aspects of the Argentina-UK relationship.

On Tuesday, 2 December, Canning House hosted its annual Mining Conference in partnership with Anglo American, sponsored by Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer. This edition focused on responsible mining and Latin America’s role in the global energy transition.

Canning House was delighted to host a Brazil Update roundtable with Michael Stott, Latin America Editor, Financial Times, on Monday 8th December.

On Tuesday, 2 December, Canning House welcomed Ilan Goldfajn, the President of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), for an insightful roundtable. The President discussed UK-Latin America Trade, the Bank’s work with Brazil, and business opportunities in the region.
