Canning House welcomes  José Luis Romo,  the Secretary of Economic Development for the State of Hidalgo, Mexico, to speak about opportunities for investment in the region.

Following the success last year of the inaugural 'Holding Up The Mirror' conference examining different aspects of UK-Spain bilateral cultural relations, we return with a distinguished panel of British and Spanish experts. On this occasion we will discuss how UK culture and society is emerging in the eyes of Spaniards as well as Brits in light of Brexit, and in what direction relations between the two countries and wider Hispanic world are headed.

The event will include short presentations in the Auditorium by  Joanna Crellin, British Consul General, São Paulo, and the UK Government’s Regional Director for Trade and Investment in Latin America,  Gordon Welsh,  Head of Business Group at UK Export Finance, and Katherine Black, Business Development at De La Rue. Followed by a networking reception. Programme: 18:00 to
