Part 2: Transparency & Corruption Update

  • Royal College of Nursing, 20 Cavendish Square, Marylebone, London W1G 0RN
  • 18.00-20.00

Canning House presents a series aimed at understanding some of the innovations and obstacles in the fight against corruption in Latin America.

The second event in this series will outline what progress has been made in terms of improving transparency and tackling corruption since the Odebrecht scandal in 2016. New leaders have been elected across the region on the promise to bring about root and branch reform; but major challenges remain.

Following on from the Canning Paper published in 2017, Canning House’s latest paper looks at the various transparency initiatives that have since been implemented, to varying degrees of success, across the region. The findings of this report will be presented, followed by further analysis from our panel of experts on the road ahead for Latin America.

The event will be chaired by Cristina Cortes, Canning House CEO.

Registration is now closed for this event.
