On 17 May, Canning House was pleased to present a Canning Address with Secretary of State General Coordinator of Honduras, Carlos Madero, standing in for H.E. Ambassador Lisandro Rosales Banegas, Secretary of State for Foreign Relations and International Cooperation of Honduras.

Minister Carlos Madero discussed the Plan for Reconstruction and Sustainable Development (PRDS) of Honduras; the public health and socio-economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the country; and the impact of Hurricanes Eta and Iota, which had terrible consequences for Honduras' population, economy and infrastructure.
