On Tuesday 8th December, Canning House hosted the Sustainable Cities and Water Conference, the second event in the 2020-21 Sustainable Development Series. With support from CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

On 3 December, Canning House partnered with LatAm INVESTOR for the launch their latest report, Pandemic Dealmaking, which suggests that adopting technical solutions has been the way forward for most firms, following the notion that ‘investors need to invest’.

On 26 November, Canning House and Pollera Pantalón presented a panel discussion on equal gender opportunities in the private sector, addressing key questions on how governments and organisations should approach gender policy.

On 24 November, Canning House brought together a panel of leading cultural sector figures for a conversation on the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic across literature, art, film and more, and what governments and organisations are doing to mitigate its effects.

On 16 November, Canning House and AS/COA presented a high-level discussion on Brexit and its impact on UK-Americas relations, encompassing UK, United States and Latin American points of view, and across governmental and corporate perspectives.
