Increasing Trade and Investment Between the UK and Latin America
A view from the Pharmaceutical, Health-tech and Healthcare Industries
On 12th November 2020, Canning House and the Department for International Trade (DIT) hosted a joint roundtable meeting bringing together an intimate group of senior business representatives with an active interest in the Latin American Pharmaceutical, Health-tech and Healthcare Industries, and offered them a chance to discuss their various experiences, concerns and suggestions with DIT representatives.
Representatives from DIT examined the key areas of opportunity in the aforementioned sectors in Latin America for UK companies. Among the subjects discussed were the work DIT has been doing to support deals in the region for UK companies, the top trade prospects in the region, and the opportunities on offer for SMEs looking to enter the region.
