Mexico receives the LatAm Outlook

On 23 March, the Canning House LatAm Outlook arrived in Brazil - looking ahead at the next 5 years and beyond in Latin America, in partnership with Itaú, Ipsos, Control Risks, the LSE Latin America and Caribbean Centre, and the Stockholm Environment Institute.

Following the launch of the LatAm Outlook 2022 in December, Canning House travelled to Mexico City, offering an opportunity to hear from our experts live and gain a deeper insight into the situation across Latin America's politics, economics, security and corruption, health, environment and social trends. All attendees also received translated extracts from the LatAm Outlook 2022 - our 120+ page report diving deep into our experts' insights.

Our experts presenting at the conference were Michael Stott (FT), Andrés Pérez (Itaú), Gavin Strong (Control Risks), Dr David Purkey (SEI), Jorge Vargas (Ipsos) and Dr Clare Wenham (LSE LACC). Keep an eye on our website to find the conference recording, which will be published shortly.

Canning House also held meetings with other organisations in Mexico City, including the Commission on Foreign Relations at the Mexican Chamber of Deputies, the Consejo Mexicano de Asuntos Internacionales and Ethos.
