Supporting Wayrachi respiratory device production in Peru

Canning House is pleased to announce its donation of £1,000 in support of the Embassy of Peru, UCL and International Medical Education Trust’s fundraiser for Wayrachi respiratory device production in Peru.

The Wayrachi helps keep Covid-19 patients out of intensive care thus protecting many lives, by connecting them to the oxygen plants of hospitals, providing patients with a high-pressure pumping system that allows them to breathe more easily when oxygen via a face mask alone is insufficient.

Command of the seas played a vital role in the struggles for independence in South America. This talk will describe the naval campaigns which ensured the freedom of Chile and Peru and the challenge which the patriot governments faced in creating navies from scratch.
