Canning House celebrates the International Day of Women and Girls in STEM

Canning House is pleased to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in STEM (11 February), supporting their success in Latin America and around the world.

The gender gap in STEM is well documented. Not only do women make up a fraction of the workforce and research teams in STEM, they are published less, paid less and are less likely than their male counterparts to reach positions of leadership, despite being proven to be on average 8% more productive.

Join us in not only celebrating their achievements in the face of adversity, but also in continuing to support women and girls and their future success in Latin America and around the world.

The British Council has launched a new scholarship for women in STEM subjects in the Americas, South Asia and South East Asia to study a Master's at a UK institution!
