Canning House and the APPG for Venezuela host briefing with Becks Buckingham OBE

On 8 March, Canning House and the APPG for Venezuela hosted a briefing with Becks Buckingham OBE, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. at the British Embassy Caracas.

This closed meeting offered opportunities for attendees to hear from Ms Buckingham on current political, social and economic circumstances in Venezuela, and for her to speak on experiences and insights from her posting. Following Ms Buckingham’s presentation, she received questions from the audience on Venezuelan migration, oil production and the country's political opposition.
