  • Theodora Dragomir

On Wednesday 5th June, Canning House hosted another event in collaboration with the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Latin America. Members of the public were invited to the UK Parliament to listen to a panel discussion about what progress Latin America’s crop of new leaders have made since being elected last year, and present the findings of the latest Canning Paper.
The panel included Andrew Thompson, editor at Latin News who wrote and presented the Canning Paper - 'Changing Politics: the impact on Latin American business'; Anthony Pereira, Director at King's Brazil Institute and, from Mexico, Jeronimo Mohar, Associate Consultant for Grupo Atalaya, who joined us remotely . Introductory words were given by Mark Menzies MP, Chair of the APPG for Latin America. The event was chaired by Cristina Cortes, CEO of Canning House.
