Current Affairs Briefing: Protests in Ecuador, Chile & Bolivia

  • Online
  • 14:00 - 15:00 GMT

Canning House & LatinNews discuss the outbreak of protests across Latin America.

A decrease in fuel subsidies in Ecuador, a metro fare increase in Chile, and disputes over electoral fraud in Bolivia have sparked widespread protests across the three countries. Violent clashes with government forces have left at least 22 dead.

In the next webinar, Canning House and LatinNews will provide an overview of the events leading up to the outbreak of protests, national and international responses, as well as analysis of the deeper problems driving unrest.
