We are delighted to welcome Gary Lineker in his capacity as Global Ambassador of Happy Child International Foundation. Gary will be sharing his experience of the ‘It’s a Penalty’ Campaign at the World Cup in Brazil 2014 and will outline plans for the campaign at the Olympics and Paralympics in 2016.

He will be joined by Sarah de Carvalho MBE , the CEO of the Foundation and by Lord Michael Hastings  in his role as Head of Corporate Citizenship at  KPMG.

Happy Child International Foundation, a British charity led by Sarah de Carvalho MBE, protects children from exploitation around major sporting events.

Happy Child International Foundation is responsible for the extremely successful and globally impactful ‘It’s A Penalty’ campaign during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, aimed at combating child exploitation around the tournament. Their campaign, including the short film featuring Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer, Frank Lampard and David Luiz reached over 307 million people worldwide. The Metropolitan Police said it was “the best crime prevention campaign we’ve ever seen”.
