Canning House is hosting an exclusive roundtable with the Vice President for Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Bank Group.

Canning House will host a business roundtable with Alfonso García Mora, Vice President for Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. This exclusive discussion will provide an opportunity to hear directly from one of the world's leading development finance institutions on IFC's priorities across Latin America and the Caribbean, its collaboration with European partners, and the role of private investment in supporting sustainable economic growth and job creation in emerging markets.

Mr García Mora will discuss how IFC is promoting private sector development throughout the region through investments and advisory services across sectors, including infrastructure, the energy transition, financial services, manufacturing, agribusiness and digital transformation. The discussion will also explore innovative capital mobilization structures and opportunities for UK businesses and investors to work with IFC in financing high-impact projects that foster economic growth, job creation and long-term development across Latin America and the Caribbean.
