Round-Table with Minister Paul Oquist - Private Secretary for National Policies for the Presidency of Nicaragua

  • SCI Belgrave Square, 14/15 Belgrave Square, London

Dr. Paul Oquist, Minister - Private Secretary for National Policies for the Presidency of Nicaragua, has agreed to brief Canning House’s corporate members and friends on the country’s current and future developments in the areas of infrastructure, energy and finance.

This by-invitation-only briefing will take place at Canning House’s Montgomery Room on Wednesday 17th June, at 8.30am.

The government of Nicaragua, which is developing a new model that seeks common welfare based on the support of the small and medium producers in order to eradicate extreme poverty and sustainable development, recognises the need of engaging foreign investment and know-how in order to implement this new model and successfully address issues such as climate change, financial crises, health challenges, human rights, internet communications, security problems, and trade.

Canning House’s morning briefings, aimed at a more open and direct exchange between our guest speakers and a limited audience, are conducted under the Chatham House Rules.
