Despite the recent economic downturn, the energy and infrastructure sector in Latin America continues to see growth. Countries in Latin America are again offering investors an opportunity to expand their portfolios in power, airports, roadways, ports, social infra, pipelines, refineries, among others.

Canning House is delighted to invite corporate members to this joint event held in collaboration with Baker McKenzie. This forum will focus on Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Peru and how to capitalize on the favourable conditions in capacity and recent reforms. Additionally, the event will explore the ambitious efforts to expand the current infrastructure and power grid in Latin America. The aim is to help attendees maximize the opportunities, navigate regulations and structure transactions to ensure success in Latin America.

Join us for this interactive forum discussion in which seasoned infrastructure, power and project finance practitioners with industry expertise, will explore the decision-making needed to help attendees execute their strategy in the region. Topics to be discussed, include:

  • Current PPP and financing trends in key Latin American markets
  • Legal and political implications on current and future projects
  • Current investment opportunities in infrastructure and renewables
  • Practical tips on how to close the deal in the current Latin American environment
