Canning House’s Opportunities Series examines, through various lenses, the opportunities and obstacles faced by disadvantaged groups in Latin America. The second event, Opportunities and Disability, considers the approaches to tackling the discrimination persons with disabilities face.

What opportunities – for economic security, political & social influence, and personal fulfilment – do persons with disabilities have in 21st Century Latin America?

What strategies, policies and regulations are needed to deliver equal opportunities?
