Mark Regis

Country Chairman, Shell English and Dutch Caribbean Cluster

Mark is a stakeholder management professional with more than 25 years’ working experience spanning Trinidad and Tobago’s Foreign Service, as well as in Trinidad and Tobago’s public and private energy sectors in both the upstream (as BG T&T’s Government Relations Manager) and the downstream (Trinidad and Tobago Methanol Company) where he started his working career.

Mark Regis was appointed Country Chairman for Shell’s 14 country English and Dutch Caribbean cluster on August 1, 2017. He holds this role concurrently with his position of Government Relations Manager for Shell in Trinidad and Tobago and the English and Dutch Caribbean Region, a position he has held since March 2014.

Ana Maria Duque

Country Chair and Government Relations Manager for Shell in Colombia, Ecuador, Central America and the Spanish-speaking Caribbean.

Ana María is a lawyer from Universidad de los Andes. She has a Master’s in International Affairs from Universidad Externado of Colombia. She began her professional career in the public sector in the Office for the Equality of Women where she advised the implementation of international conventions on gender equality. Later in her career she was appointed advisor in the Direction of Ethnicities of the Ministry of Interior, where she led the elaboration of programs and public policies for the protection of Human Rights of ethnic groups. After her time in the Direction, she was designated as Advisor of the Deputy Minister of Interior.

In the energetic sector, Ana has held positions as Advisor in Corporate Affairs and Communications, Specialist in Government Relations and Manager of Government Relations for Central America and the Spanish speaking Caribbean in Shell. In 2017, Ana was named Country Chair of Colombia, Ecuador, Central America and the Spanish Speaking Caribbean.

 

Derek Hudson

Vice President and Country Chairman – Shell Trinidad and Tobago

Mr. Derek Hudson is a geologist by profession and has worked in the oil and gas industry for almost three decades.  He joined BG Group in 1995 and held previous roles as Vice President of one of BG’s UK upstream businesses from 2000 to 2004, Chief of Staff in Trinidad and Tobago from 2005 to 2007, President and Asset General Manager of BG Trinidad & Tobago from 2007 to 2012 and thereafter assumed a similar role for BG in East Africa. Following the combination of Royal Dutch Shell and BG Group in February 2016, Mr. Hudson served as Shell’s Vice President Tanzania before his appointment to the position of Vice President Trinidad & Tobago where he is responsible for Shell’s business in country.
