Canning House and the Department for International Trade is delighted to present the   Chile Mining Supply Chain Conference   on Wednesday 2nd November 2016  here at Canning House. We are delighted to welcome   Chile’s Minister of Mines, Aurora Williams , as our keynote speaker at the conference which is aimed at informing the UK mining supply chain of the huge opportunities that exist in Chile’s Mining sector.

We are delighted to welcome Chile’s Minister of Mines, Aurora Williams, as our keynote speaker at the conference which is aimed at informing the UK mining supply chain of the huge opportunities that exist in Chile’s Mining sector.

On the day you will hear from the Chilean Copper Commission about critical supplies required for the sector, and CRU will share their analysis of Chile’s competitiveness as a mining jurisdiction. Other confirmed speakers include Chile’s Geological Survey, a multinational mining company, and Chile’s development agency.

With planned mining investment of US $70 billion by 20121, Chile presents a huge business opportunity for UK companies. The country is one of the most resource endowed countries in the world with large reserves of copper, lithium, gold, silver and nitrates. Additionally, Chile boasts more free trade agreements than any other country and is a highly stable and safe business environment.

Registration begins from 8:00am and the conference starts at 9am and will run on until 12.30pm, followed by a networking lunch.
