Following the trend of China’s growth in outward foreign direct investment, Chinese investment into Latin America is becoming more significant. Indeed, in January 2015 President Xi Jinping pledged that China’s investment levels in Latin America would reach USD $250 billion within a decade. Can UK corporates ensure that their experience and expertise is incorporated into the value chain of major Chinese projects in Latin America?
This is a joint event by Canning House and the China-Britain Business Council. This seminar will examine the drivers for China’s outbound investment, evaluate the rise of Chinese investment in Latin America and discuss broader opportunities for British companies with a panel of UK service providers that have a foot print in both China and Latin America.
