The plane carrying the team tragically crashed on November 28th 2016 as they travelled to play the first leg of the 2016 Copa Sudamericana final against Colombia’s Atletico Nacional, in Medellín.

The event will be hosted by Fernando Duarte (BBC Brazil & World Service) with Minister Ana Maria Bierrenbach (Chargé d'Affaires of Brazil to the UK) here at Canning House.
