What opportunities exist for scaling up trade and investment between the UK and Latin America? In the second of a new series of Canning House Business Breakfasts, we welcome Sarah Howard MBE, Chair at the British Chambers of Commerce, to share the reciprocal opportunities for UK and Latin American businesses and investors.

The discussion will be centred around two key questions. Firstly, what opportunities exist for British investors to do business in Latin America? A broad approach will be adopted, encompassing established sectors- such as mining and energy- alongside developing industries; such as finance, professional services, technology, and Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCGs). Secondly, the discussion will turn to what Great Britain can offer Latin American businesses. This unique proposition stems from London’s role as a global financial centre, the UK’s cutting-edge role in infrastructure, high-level manufacturing, education and thought leadership, facilitated by the shared values between the UK and Latin America.
