The first round of the Brazilian General Election will be taking place on October 4. Brazilians will head to the polls to choose their new President, Congress, and Federal Governors. If no presidential candidate secures 50% of the vote, there will be a run-off later in the month.
Canning House has assembled an expert panel of speakers to join us for a webinar looking ahead to the elections. Incumbent Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is running for an unprecedented fourth time, and will face opposition from Flávio Bolsonaro, among other candidates.
This webinar will discuss the political future of Brazil under each candidate, as well as the economic outlook for the country.
