Book Launch - No Necesito Pelear Para Tener La Razón with Guillermo Solarte Lindo

  • Instituto Cervantes, 15-19 Devereux Court, London

The launch of a new publication from Pacifists Without Borders and Libertarian Editions: Author, Guillermo Solarte Lindo in dialogue with John Dew, British Diplomat and former Ambassador to Colombia and Cuba. Moderated by Hernando Alvarez, Head of BBC Mundo.

No Necesito Pelear Para Tener La Razón is a significant work that explores and analyses the culture of violence in Colombia, which, it is argued, is preserved by the political status quo and the media – a major cause of the perpetuation of armed conflict in the country. The book sets out guidelines for a culture of peace based on democracy, education, the media and justice, as central to counteracting the culture of violence that society Colombia lives.

This is a joint event with Instituto Cervantes.
