Coping with Coronavirus

Virtual Investing with LatAm INVESTOR

On 3 December, Canning House came together with LatAm INVESTOR once again to launch its latest report, Pandemic Dealmaking. The report explores how international investors are finding new ways to do business in Latin America despite the pandemic restrictions. It also uncovers opportunities being created by the momentous shift to a ‘new normal’. In this event, a panel made up of regional advisors and investors will share their tips on how to make deals happen in the age of Covid-19.

Coronavirus has also removed lots of the traditional government trade support for UK firms in Latin America. It’s no longer possible to take part in trade delegations or visit B2B expos. Yet, the report discovered that the FCDO is pioneering new forms of digital diplomacy that offer virtual tools to British companies looking to crack Latin America. HM Ambassador to Mexico, Corin Robertson explained how British embassies in the region can help UK plc.
