Failing to meet a 10-day deadline to capture the leader of the Frente Oliver Sinisterra (FOS), and dissident member of the demobilised Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (Farc), ‘Guacho’ (Walter Patricio Arizala), responsible for the kidnap and murder of three employees of the Quito daily El Comercio, and taking hostage two other Ecuadorean nationals.
