Canning House welcomes  José Luis Romo,  the Secretary of Economic Development for the State of Hidalgo, Mexico, to speak about opportunities for investment in the region.

Canning House welcomes José Luis Romo, the Secretary of Economic Development for the State of Hidalgo, Mexico, to speak about opportunities for investment in the region. José Luis Romo has held a number of senior positions in the Mexican Government, including: economist at the Mexican Central Bank; Director of Special Projects at the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit; General Director of Planning at the National Commission for the Social Protection in Health (Seguro Popular); and Head of the Unit of Planning and Evaluation of the Mexican Social Security Institute. The event will be chaired by Oliver Cornock of the Oxford Business Group.

Hidalgo is seeking to expand its network of clusters for the development of certain industries such as: aerospace, agro-industry, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals and electric vehicles, in order to boost innovation and the development of new sectors in the state.
