Postponed Until Further Notice: Growing Chinese Inroads in Latin America - A Perspective from the Automotive Industry

Due to unforeseen circumstances, this event has been postponed until further notice.

Following on from our recent Canning Paper on Sino-Latin American relations, we are delighted to welcome Mark Norcliffe to deliver a briefing on perspectives of this growing relationship from the automotive industry. Mark will explore the ambitions and realities of Chinese automakers' investment in Latin America and will also consider the attitude of local consumers toward Chinese brands and the potential for makes such as Foton, Great Wall, Geely and Yangtze to come to the fore in the region.

Mark Norcliffe is formerly Head of International at the Society for Motor Manufacturers and Traders and a specialist business adviser with UKTI. Mark is now a senior partner at the Dragon Partnership, a bespoke consultancy specialising in business advice and information on the Chinese market.

This is a joint event with the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT)
