Canning Lecture 2015: Enrique Peña Nieto, President of the United Mexican States
On Wednesday 4th March, His Excellency Enrique Peña Nieto, President of the United Mexican States delivered the Canning Lecture during his State Visit to the United Kingdom, 3rd-5th March 2015.
Since 1997, the Canning Lecture has been delivered annually by a visiting Latin American or Iberian President. To watch the video click here.

Brazilian Portuguese Courses Start 11th May 2015
Canning House runs 10 week Brazilian Portuguese Language Courses which are taught by experience and qualified native Brazilian speakers. Course fees are £220 for non members and £200 for members.
Our classrooms are located a 2 minute walk from Marble Arch station at Marble Arch Tower, First Floor, 55 Bryanston Street, London, W1H 7AA. Wifi access is available free of charge in all our classrooms.
The next term of Brazilian Portuguese will run from the 11th May – week ending 25th July 2015.
Canning Conference Highlights – Latin America: Integrating or Diverging
This year’s Canning Conference explored current trends and transformations in Latin America by analysing the economic, political and social changes taking place. Speakers from business, government, academia and international organisations focused on issues of regional political and economic integration and the impact of old and new trade blocs, in the context of an evolving external environment, on the future development of Latin America.
